That’s the stuff - finally some proper scrambling. I didn’t actually read anything about it other than that it’s the “Lightning rod of the Cascades” and the last part is class four so I brought up the TX3s to swap into and that worked out nicely. Good enough exposure to have me a little puckered due to being rusty. Felt like my old self up there and nothing like singing to yourself in the alpine. Supposedly the only spot you can see Crater Lake from outside the national park? Glad I rallied to make this happen despite being tired most of the day. I didn’t expect to be crossing the PCT until I was at the intersection; I definitely don’t recognize this so it must’ve been part of the 50 miles I had to skip for a wildfire. Anytime I see Umpqua national Forest my head sings Umpqua Umpqua Umpadie Doo and I can’t be the only one
