Didn’t know there was a cool fire tower at the top of this one! My instincts said to go the other way when the trail split and a sign said “main trail” to the right and I was rewarded with some absolutely platonic ridgeline boulder hopping. Very hot in the sun. 1:20 up which I’m happy with considering the technicality and how little juice my legs felt. There’s some unaesthetic parts in the middle but the ridgeline and the basin below the peak are probably the prettiest trails I’ve seen in the pass so far. Running out of local peaks finally.
