Only got a few hours of sleep last night but still needed to knock this out. Legs felt fatigued but capable which is where I wanted them to be after Saturday. Great loop, want to come back and do just the Southern part when my legs are fresh and on a day I’m not dodging mountain bikers. I did enjoy leapfrogging a nice biker on every uphill and downhill though. Experimented with poles and cadence, I think they really do help keep me running uphill when my legs are tired and it’s fun to accelerate out of switchbacks. Hiked the last hill around mile 11 or 12 because something not great was happening with my right hip/glute/hamstring. It went away on the downhill so hoping it was just fatigue.
